The aim of the research developed at CMLA is to invent
mathematical concepts, methods, algorithms and tools for the interfaces with other scientific fields and with the industrial sector. With this orientation,
CMLA offers an original training program for young researchers with diverse basic education ranging from mathematics to computer science, physics and engineering sciences, always motivated by real-life problems and data with high scientific or societal impact. The main drivers for the research activities of CMLA can be summarized with three simple principles: openness, interaction, and computing.
